O’Neill and global team rider Jeremy Jones are gearing up for the European premiere screenings of Higher, the final chapter in Jones’ Deeper, Further, Higher series of big mountain snowboarding films
Produced by Teton Gravity Research and supported by O’Neill every step of the way, Higher completes the freeride film trilogy that has taken more than six years from the point of conception to completion.
Critically acclaimed and praised by fans and peers alike, the first two chapters have left a lasting mark on the progression of freeride snowboarding. Ever since turning his back on alpine racing some two decades ago, the 10-time Big Mountain Rider of the Year has spearheaded the evolution of the sport.
Filmed on location in Grand Teton National Park, Alaska and as close to home as the Sierra Mountains in California, Higher took Jeremy as far afield as the Himalayas in Nepal. Accessing and riding terrain that was previously thought to be either unreachable or unrideable, Jeremy, the crew and friends including Bryan Iguchi, Ryland Bell and Luca Pandolfi scored ascents and lines that will leave spectators gasping for breath.
The Higher premiere tour, presented by O’Neill, will take in eight leading Northern European cities, including London, Amsterdam, Paris, Munich and Oslo. Jeremy will be in attendance at each stop of the eight-date tour to meet fans and sign autographs after each screening.
