LG TV
Do you need to reset your LG to factory settings? Then follow the steps below:
Step 1: open the menu. Use your remote to open the menu. To do so, use the button with the gear shaped icon.
Step 2: open All settings. Select All settings and press the OK button. This is the button located in the middle of the arrow keys.
Step 3: go to General. Select the General option. The icon for this option looks like a gear and a screwdriver.
Step 4: go to Reset to initial settings. Scroll down until you reach the Reset to initial settings option. Select it.
Step 5: confirm the reset. The television asks if you are sure you want to erase all settings. Select Confirm. Enter your password when prompted.
You're done! The television will recover and turn off when the reset is completed. Turn the television back on.
Smart Hub reset
If your film does not play on your LG TV, this may be due to conflicting software. A solution is to reset the Smart Hub.
- Go to the Smart environment (where all the apps are located)
- Select 'Settings' (the gear icon at the bottom)
- Open 'Support'
- Perform the app initialization
- Go back to the Smart environment and click the 'Premium' (square-shaped icon)
- Play the film again
Philips
Are you experiencing problems playing the film on your Philips Smart TV? It may help to turn the TV off completely (disconnect it from the power for 10 minutes), then start the film again.
If that does not help, another solution could be to reset your Smart TV. To do so, please go through the following steps:
- Remove the Pathé Thuis app
- Reset your television
Step 1: open the menu. Press the menu button on your remote
Step 2: select All settings
Step 3: select General settings
Step 4: select Factory settings
Step 5: confirm the reset. - Check if you have the latest software
- Reinstall the Pathé Thuis app.
If that does not help, another solution could be to clear the internet cache on the TV and then start the film again.
Follow the steps below to clear this cache:
- Unplug the television and leave it unplugged for 10 minutes. It is important to leave the TV unplugged for this period so that it can discharge.
- Press the 'Home' button on the TV remote control and select:
[Setup] > [Network] or [Network Settings] > [Clear Internet Memory] or [Clear Apps Memory]
Sony TV
Step 1: Open the menu
Press the HOME button on your remote control. This button is located in the ring around the arrow keys.
Step 2: Open Settings
Use the arrow keys to scroll down until you see the Settings option. Select this option and press the enter button. This is the button in the middle of the arrow keys.
Step 3: Select Storage and recovery
Select Storage and recovery and press the enter button.
Step 4: Select Factory data reset
Select Factory data reset and press the enter button.
Step 5: Select Erase everything
Select Erase everything and press the enter button.
Step 6: Confirm the reset
The TV asks if you are sure you want to erase all settings. Select Confirm and press the enter button.
