How do I perform a software update on my TV?

Samsung TV
If you are unable to watch a film without any problems, we recommend that you check the software version* of your TV and update if necessary. Below is a description of the steps you need to follow.
*Enter your model number to the Samsung website and check what the most recent software version is. We notice that automatic updates do not always work properly.

SAMSUNG 2012 / 2013 / 2014
How do I find my software version?

  1. Turn on the television
  2. Click on the ‘Menu’ button on the remote control
  3. Go to ‘Support’
  4. Click on ‘Contact Samsung’
  5. See the software version under ‘Product information’

How do I update my software version?

  1. Turn on the television
  2. Click on the ‘Menu’ button on the remote control
  3. Go to ‘Support’
  4. Click on ‘Software update’
  5. You will now get an option on how you want to update, choose ‘Online’
  6. Your software update will now be performed if necessary
